hi now I'm doing my final year project
My wish do my project in advance controllers
so plz guide me to find so advance controllers
i tried about pic but it is known to all
ARM controllers but is too cost
so tell me some others controller family plz...

If you find ARM controllers too expensive you may find the other too expensive too.

Would the PIC18 family be advanced enough?

Advanced for what purpose??
PIC16's are still widely used because they're appropriate for their jobs.

The dsPIC series is 16 bit and has a lot of neat stuff.
There is now a 32-bit PIC product line, it's still very new but they do have some orderable products.

If you are actually starting, I would say the 18F family, talking PICs, is the minimum.

But I would start with the 24F or 30F. One of them is still using Vdd = 5V. The rest is all 3,3V but with 5V tolerant I/O pins.

I'm also a student and I'm using ARM
I think ARM would be just fine...
Check This, they have some ARM based machines as well as some introduction documents.
