I've look arout the web quite alot for these 2 chips, the Tesla is a 16X4 static ram and the 7908 is a 14? pin dip, but the symbol on the chis is a big S.
The Tesla 16x4 static RAM (MH7489) I have nothing at all on right now. As to the other chip, I suspect that the 7908 is a date code, and that the chip type is the 2112. I am aware of two different DIP-14 chips using that base number:
high & low side driver **broken link removed** and **broken link removed**
quad op-amp **broken link removed**
You should be able to determine which you have (if it is in circuit) by its associated circuitry...
Thank you ChrisP,
The chip was supplied to me for an electronics course, and the quad op-amps seems the most likely, Now that you mentioned it, I think it had JRC on the package, The S may have been on another IC. Another student had the datasheet on the MH7489, but I didn't get a chance to copy it.
