The Ritesh post reminded me of GopherT

I hadn’t heard of Ritesh Kakkar in years until a recent post.
That reminded me of GopherT. One of the few people I have ever found obnoxious enough to put on my Ignore list.
He just stopped posting Jul 28, 2021 and disappeared.
No one ever spoke his name again.
I hope this doesn’t Ping him and get him back, but does anyone know why he disappeared?

GopherT was not only obnoxious, but quite aggressive. And even if one wanted to de-escalate, he would continue to stoke the fire.

I had a couple of major conflicts with GopherT, which caused me fully abandoning this website for year and a half. Only came back when I lurked here out of curiosity and found that he was gone.
He also caused another excellent member, JonSea, to bail out.

But JonSea came back as yours truly.

I don't know what I ever did to that guy but he had it in for me.

Yes, I once asked "are you OK" or maybe "what is wrong with you" to GopherT and that seemed to upset him.

I'm just glad he's no longer around.
