Tic-Tac-Toe Game

i am currently trying to create a tic tac toe game in MPLAB in assembler language using the PIC18F8720 and a PICDEM2 demo board. The idea of the game is for the PIC to play a human player. HyperTerminal for windows will be used to "interact" with the micro. if anyone has any code that could help me, (such as a strategy) would be really helpful.
