toshiba television 36zp18q help needed

hi all im new to this site and wondering if anyone can help or has had the same problem.
this is the spec of my television
toshiba colour tv 37 inch widescreen
model number 36zp18q

woke up this morning turned it on and after 10 minits it turned it self of and took a while to come back on but then does the same turns its self of.. when the tele is on the picture is normal.

Probably a dry joint somewhere?, see if you can 'tap' the set and make it go off. I have seen reports about dry joints on digital processing panels in some Toshiba's, and Toshiba have been extending the warranty on the panels because of it.

He's just hit the telly and its come on so he's gone off to do some dry joint checks.
