does anyone know any place selling loose toslink type plugs to fit 1mm plastic fibre?
We used to buy them from Farnells but it's years since we bought a batch and the old part number is no longer recognised.
The bulk cable is still readily available.
It's used in some machine tool applications for links between remote I/O modules. We have a customer that's managed to damage the fibre optics on a machine while doing some mechanical work. Replacing the cables is not a problem but we've run out of plugs in the process and could do with some more stock.
