i need to know the best terms on how to transmit a digital data (FSK) in longer distance, 5km..how if i use 27.12Mhz for the transmitting frequency?

I don't know what the law is in Malaysia but you do doubt need a license to transmit long distances. The frequency is in the CB band but i don't know if it is a voice channel. You can buy 5 watt transmitter/receiver anywhere that will reach 5km, but you might need to change the frequency.
