audioguru Well-Known Member Most Helpful Member Aug 31, 2009 #22 A fan that is enclosed with the heatsink just blows the hot air around. No cooling. If the heatsink sweats and is in the open with a fan blowing on it then it will be cooled very well (if the air is not too humid).
