Two Vss in pic16f72

Hi all,

I am trying to build hardware using pic16f72.It has two Vss pins(pin no-19 and 8).
what purpose it has two vss pins?

And what is the minimum and maximium voltage generated by a controller.

Please give your suggestions...

What has that to do with the original thread ? This was about the VSS on the 16F72 not sine wave inverters

This chip has a High sink of 300ma out VSS that's why you need 2 pins if you pushed it to the limit it would burn up if you used just 1 VSS
