DON'T use the 16F84, it was replaced by the cheaper, higher spec, 16F628 last century! - use that instead!.

But BOTH are available from Maplin, the 16F84 at £4.13 and the 16F628 at £2.77 (or even the 16F627 at £2.43).

I can also recommend the following as I have ordered from them:

**broken link removed**

For terms and condictions and delivery charges, click the "HELP" sidebar and scroll down the page. In my previous ordering, the p+p charge is IIRC less than £2.

Thanks for replys

The sites that recommend the 16F84 for learning on are sites from the last century!, you should use it's more modern replacement instead - there's almost NO difference in the code.
