Hi,

I have a IDE to FIREWIRE and USB external case. When I connect it to firewire it works ok but for the USB connection I get the "USB device not recognized" message. Here are some pictures of the controller. Any idea about what the problem might be ? Is there anything I could check there ?

Thanks a lot.

It is not correctly responding to the enumeration process. This happens to me all the time after downloading code over the JTAG port and forgetting to start the device processor (ADSP-21363). Windows complains bitterly and proceeds to get stupid.

MY solution is to start the emulator before connecting the USB cable to the Windows Box, so my firmware is running in the DSP before Windows begins the enumeration process.

Your problem may require that you find a driver that you can install for the board. I'm assuming that it is a purchased board rather than one you are doing development on.
