Very very thin SMD 8X8 Dot Matrixs.

Hi, I just got my 8x32 dot matrix display module that I ordered from SureElectronics few days ago.

See the below images. All of those 8X8 blocks are SMD Leds. And they haven't used that big plastic top box for those blocks. So its very very thin. You can clearly see in the images. I'll post here some images when its lit up, as soon as I done with the coding.

I think those SMD type 8X8 blocks are very much cooler than ordinary type 8x8 blocks.

Very curious to know the average "all on" current for such a module. Assuming this is a multiplexed row, or 1/8 duty, wondering if they overdrive the leds?
