jrz126 Active Member Oct 16, 2006 #2 You should make it so that the 4 bits control 1 7-seg. display. Then seperate your 8 bit number into 2 digits. (2 numbers ranging from 0 to 9). Your VHDL truth table will only have 16 rows. compared to 256 rows if you combine the 2 digits. There's plenty of info on the web about this
