Dear friends ,

I have a circuits ( vibration measurement ) which is giving output in mm/sec. and displays frequency also.

ex: at 80hz if it shows 10 mm/sec.

with these details i want to calculate acceleration and displacement also.

Can any body give me calculation details in this subject.

thanks and regards

The mm/s is velocity. Differentiate it to get acceleration. Integrate it to get displacement.

Vibration conversions are valid for sinusoids only - not from broad band measurements. If you are measuring peaks with an FFT or through a tuned filter, you can convert between displacement, velocity and acceleration. The VibCon vibration conversion program may be **broken link removed**

Why are we hand-holding you? ctc has what you nned to know here: **broken link removed**

That's the first place you should have looked.

On the same page as VibCon above....

**broken link removed** includes conversion formula. Sorry I didn't specifically point it out.

CTC has excellent reference material too.
