Vintage Fairchild uA709 Op Amps for anyone who wants them

I have an original bag of unused Fairchild uA709 OP Amps from 1965. These are 8-lead can's...not DIP. They've been sitting in an old tool box collecting dust, but they are unused. There's probably 50 or 100 of them in the bag. My father-in-law used to work for Fairchild back in the 60's, so this might have been something he got and forgot about.

I don't want them or know how to use. I'll probably chuck them in the trash if nobody's interested. I figure it would be useful for someone who restores vintage computers or controllers.

Are you located in the US? If so, I would like a few of them, mostly as nostalgia, since the 709 was the very first opamp that I ever successfully used.

Used many, used feed forward to get some speed out of them.

I think I have original datasheet somewhere, the initial offering Vos was 25 mV, precision......

Nowadays we sneer at these primitive devices, but I do recall the incredible achievement that was a MONOLITHIC opamp back in the early 1970s.

My first project with a 709 was an audio AC milivoltmeter. One would be able to measure the direct output from tape heads or phono pickups, which at the time was miraculous.

That's very thoughtful of you, but I'd only be intrested in diodes and transistors.

I never sneered at 741 or 709's if they worked & met the design specs.

Even the lowly LM358's worked for me as remote light sensor using an LED to fast detect a UV H2 jet flame igniter while driving an LED indicator without Rs using the built-in current limiting on a breadboard.
