Water tap switch?

Hi,

Does anyone know if there is such a thing as an electronically controlled water tap? For example I want to send 5V to the tap and have it turn on.

I've tried to find a component on the internet but everything that comes back is not what I want.

Cheaper the better as well!

soleniod valve will do the job
look in the garden sprinkler shop and they have what you need

also these valves are used in washing machines

for washing machines i've seen them in 12V DC, 220V AC,

for lane sprinklers they are 24V AC

Actually found the Gardena T14e which runs off of a 9V battery. Will plug in to this

Google PIR water tap. Lots of commercial products; maybe you can take one apart.
