What happened?????????????

Hi,

nothing happened!

If you don't arrange the parts to fit into a limited size frame of 100X80mm (Eagle light) you won't succeed with the board layout.

It works as you can see.

I wonder why you used huge DPDT relays instead of miniature relays. Switching telephones a relay of 7X10mm will do the job and you can get as many as 20 on the board.

P.S. I switched +12V and ground on J2 for better routing.

Hi chamil,

here is what happens if you select the right parts for your project.

The board size is 88X52mm (instead of 100X80mm) using miniature relays (OMRON G6K-2P).

The relays are rated 125VAC/60VDC at 1A per pole.

Although all in and out lines are wired via screw head terminals (pitch 1/5") the board is much smaller and cleaner.

For a proper ground fill one wire jump is necessary. It's located at the left hand bottom.
