Hi,

when a resistor is labeled as 680E, is that means it's resistance is 680 ohm?

I presume you're talking about a PIC programmer?, the file concerned isn't of English origin - presumably the suffix E is the one for ohm in the language concerned?, whereas English would use R. The Dutch magazine Elektor commonly uses E as the suffix for ohm.

Yup, I am talking bout the PIC programmer from your website.

I just use English-Dutch online dictionary to find the word for "Resistance" or "ohm", but none of the result is start with an "E" :( . Anyway, I presume "E" as ohm.

just buzz it out with a DMM
