What is this forum for?

I feel I may have joined the wrong forum for my questions. I need help building a 12v ceramic heater with a high accuracy thermostat and a intermitent switch to turn a 120v motor on for 15 seconds and off for 60 minutes in a constant cycle. Not trying to be impatient I just didn't know if I was in the right place. I tried to read some of the other threads to fish around and most of them are so far over my head I imagined myself over shooting my dilemma.

You are in the right place, it just happens sometimes that those in the best capacity to help may be off-line doing other things.

Rather than giving out the wrong information, members generally sit on their hands and wait for those more familiar with the subject to make a post.
