Attached is the image of a Voltage and current waveform
Current and Voltage Waveforms of a Computer LCD Adapter working/ taking power at 220V AC
Yellow Color - Voltage profile
Blue Color - Current Profile
The said waveforms are from a Hall Effect Sensor (Honeywell)
Question: The bizarre behavior of Current waveform which goes negative too in the positive cycle and then in negative cycle, its not even totally vice-versa. Anyone want to ponder some views on it why is it so....?
Please some serious answers are required as we are trying to make a digital instrument capable of measuring Distortion, displacement factors and RMS current in this Project
What type of waveform is this? What is the converter which is taking this waveform. apparently how can a converter take positive and negative current in same cycle. As far as my analysis goes by....it has to do something with the energy recovery snubbers. Any suggestions regarding this would be really helpful
