whats size drill for .5 mm components?

hi all, Im wondering what size drill bits to buy. Ive measured the legs of the leds and such that i need to drill for and they are just under .5mm.

how much extra should you allow on average? Im thinking something like a .8mm bit?

I'd use a 0.7mm bit which is a standard size.
