Do you have a virus on your computer?

I have only 256MB of RAM and I'm using 3.5 with no problems.

It takes time to load the application but data loading is about 5times faster than IE.

I experience the same, Firefox takes lightly longer to start but pages seem to load faster.

I use Safari 'sometimes' and really appreciate it's private browsing feature where the history, cookies nothing is stored while browsing .

Anyway I consider Microsoft to be more of a marketing company than a software company.

Can't put much stress on to it while standing on the Microsoft platform

Could be because they introduced MS Bob at early stages of Windows for making people get used to the features.
 
Does nobody use flock? its great, like a souped up version of firefox. anyone keep on social networking would be hard pushed not to love it.
 
Well, it seems like most people here prefer Firefox over IE 10:1.

However Internet Explorer is still most popular overall.

Why is it that this forum seems to be different?

Is it because we're more tuned in and know more about alternatives to Internet Explorer than most people?

If you want to speed firefox up just set your options like in the pic **broken link removed**
 
That's a pic of my screen shot of firefox options if you look for yours all them boxes will
be checked if you uncheck them your firefox will run faster
now if you can't find that I feel for you

It's under tools firefox spends most of it's time checking for updates turn that off and it faster they say it speeds start up
too. It works good for me The ideal came from firefox form.

That explains it, I did look for your album but couldn't find it.

That will improve the start-up speed but I don't see how it will decrease page download/display time.
 
It helps with flash so it helps some download/display time. because it's not downloading things you don't want all the time.
 
Chrome Not bad at all I had not tried it. I installed it today.
It works well maybe try it for a day or two see if I like it.

It just don't have the fluff of firefox
Or as a EE would say not enough pockets for all my slide rules
