Every once in a while I see a request here about where to by electronics parts. I came across this article the other day, so I though I would share it with everybody. It can't hurt to look.

This is a huge world and American parts are not available "over there" and the parts "over there" are not available "over here".
Some surplus stores sell obsolete parts at a high price.
Some places sell at a reasonable price and other places sell at a very high price.
Some places ship to you immediately but other places (maybe they must buy what you order) ship much later.
