I'm running a 12v bipolar stepper motor on a 12f675, and I want to build two H-bridges to run my motor. I looked around for mosfets but there is too much information. Can someone suggest pnp and npn mosfets that can supply 12 volts and be activated by a pic? The stepper motors came from a 5.25 floppy and I can manually apply 12 volts and make them spin so I'm sure with the right mosfets this should be an easy project. Thanks for any suggestions

Hi,

You could use the L298 IC for Bipolar mode - or a ULN2803 IC in Unipolar mode.

For discrete devices - have a look at the many stepper circiuts in this magazine **broken link removed**
