been looking last night to no avail so asking here.
i have a balcony that has 2 sliding doors open up to get to the balcony, i need a wireless device that i can attach to these doors, one a magnet on one door and a battery operated small device with reed switch on the other that transmits a signal 5m away to a receiver that is mains powered that will light a led on the receiver if the door is open and turns the led off when the door is closed.
battery usage must be minimal for this device.
anyone know anything that would be suitable for this?
These are the neatest wireless sensors I know of; however they are Zigbee devices for use with home automation & need a central system of some sort to connect to. (I use Home Assistant, which is totally free software).

when it lights a led on the receiver , i will take this led output to an input of a arduino to send an IR trigger to an aircon to turn it off after 2 minutes if door still open
