I have never installed an LED indicator light before. I saw that they are available in DC and AC. I went with the AC so I wouldn't need a transformer. I have read from a previous similar post (https://www.electro-tech-online.com/threads/light-switch-120v-led-indicator.147509/) that the LED indicator needs to be wired between the live and neutral wires.
Does is matter what wire (positive and negative) from the LED is connected to the neutral and live wires? Is my wiring schematic (attached) correct or am I missing something completely? I do have some experience with electrical work, but am aware of my limitations. Any help is greatly appreciated.
