Hi all.
With XC8's C++ capability, anyone ever try doing their PIC code in C++? Pros? Cons?

I wasn't aware of that. Any links to more info? You can do it through the arduino platform
Nope not really.... I think I've crossed some wires.... I was thinking of the Amicus18 arduino.
But my brain was saying Fubrino ??? The pinguino IDE looks and feels like the adruino but it is just C and not C++ Sorry for getting your hopes up..
When you look at the Amicus18 you will see what I mean..
Of course you can.... I have it on windows ( earlier version ), It used to run on all three... Even then you can use virtualbox and run linux mint or something. The Pinguino supposedly supports C++ on the 18F devices it supports - but as there's no Windows version, then I can't try it.
There doesn't seem to be any current Windows version to download?.Of course you can.... I have it on windows ( earlier version ), It used to run on all three... Even then you can use virtualbox and run linux mint or something.
I've just got back from Dicky Tickers exercise class - and I've set Linux Mint downloading, so I'll give it a try.Like I said... I run linux mint ( x64) in a virtual box... It takes moments to install.. Virtualbox is free.
