I am working on repairing an Acer Nitro 5 and found a few blown out capacitors and a missing I/C. Wondering if anyone can help me find the part numbers I need. I tried downloading board views but was unsuccessful. The board is LA-H501P
Quite a few places are selling schematics for a few dollars/euros, but I can't find any.
There is a service manual for that series here, but no schematics..
It does have a some level of faultfinding info.

The "Missing IC" looks to be an unused connector location. That's easily verified by finding good photos of boards being sold online, eg. here:
The same location is unused.
It is not at all unusual for boards to have locations for components that are not used in a particular version of a product.
Sorry I can't help with the capacitors, but I'd suggest also searching board photos to determine if any are missing, or just spare positions.
