Sony XO-5 Stereo Deck Receiver

Good evening to you all,

I need your help, I've had a Sony xo-5 in the cupboard for a long time and decided to try and fix it, the only problem is there are no manuals available for download at least not free or cheap, does anyone here have a Sony xo-5 service manual I would appreciate it very much.

Well there's no speaker relays or protection (other than fuses), which makes it easy to test - just measure the voltages on the speaker fuses (should be very near zero).

I presume you're aware there's a speaker selection switch on the front?, and presumably you had it set to the speaker socket you were trying - you might also try headphones.
