using AHDL,
i need help in designing a up and down counter using d flipflop to count no. of pulse and send count to computer.
The count output to the computer system is not to change while the S input from the computer is true. Thus any counter updates have to be delayed until the S input has gone false.
input:
P= Input pulses to be counted
R=Reset Counter
U=Count Up, !U= Count Down
from computer:
S=Send Count (= Chip Select)
output:
to computer:
A,B,C,D=Counter output in binary
