i want to make a simple alternating buzzer\beeper (the sound have to be alternating and not creapy straight buzzer sound) that will sit in my car and will remind me when i forget to turn off my lights. the buzzer needs to be the simplest. it dont have to be loud at all, just noticable.
the input voltage prefered for the circuit is 12-14v.
i've got a lot of 555's that i think can be usefull...

first of all tnx roff
secondly, is there a way to make a simple siren/alarm sound without a two tone buzzer? say, a small 8ohm speaker, a piezo speaker like that --> **broken link removed**
I built this thing a long time ago, I tested it with a mid-range
speaker and a piezo tweeter. The mid-range speaker gave the
nicest sound but there was an audible click between the bursts.
The piezo tweeter didn't suffer from this click but the sound was
not as good as that from the speaker.
Both made a lot of noise !
