well, as far as what i can see, UTS isnt there in the group of 8.. you could visit www.go8.edu.au and chk.. it says University of Sydney and not University of Tech Sydney.. of course, if your gonna be staying with your aunt , you could also think of Univ of Sydney, cuz its very very good.. besides, its an added advantage for you cuz your living expenses will be covered by your aunt anyway.. )

oh and monash is in Clayton, MElbourne.. regarding the computer engg job opportunities, u could do a google search on the companies and where they are specifically located.. but since your focussing on 2 of the most central and most developed cities, i'm sure you'll have plenty of job opportunities in either of the places..
