I have the same problem. There is a better solution and it has 3D vision. Go down to the drug store and buy several pairs of reading glasses. They come in various diopter strengths from 1.0 to 4.0 in half diopter steps. I bought one of each. They are only about $10/pair. .

Could have saved your self some money.
I've got the same glasses but only 2 pairs.
I use 1.5's for general getting around in the shed (my eyes aren't so good anymore), 3's for soldering, reading and so on, and if I need to get to component level for joint inspection etc, I put both on. They add together.
