Hey guys,
I'm trying to see why this clock doesn't have any sound and am failing so far, I'm not that knowledgeable about circuits etc. I've tried to resolder a few bits just in case and tried to test continuity and have replied the speaker just in case although the speaker works. Could some please explain to me in simple terms/method how i can fault find?
The capacitor and resistor that was attached together gave no reading on my multimeter whereas the other two (separate ones) both gave a reading. Could these be the culprit? I took them out and still go no readings both on OHM setting and continuity. Although to be honest I'm more or less seeing if the multimeter gives any number at all rather than if it's the "correct" value. The 3rd picture, it shows the wiring for the on and off switch and the blue and black wire is for the "demo" button. Many thanks in advance

Missing Gnd = 0V connection and messy V+power = Vdd wire
