I want to open cable TV box (general instruments) for power supply repair. It has special screw heads. Unfortunately we do not have screw drivers for this type. Could you please let me know any web, or details of tool manufactures to order special screw driver bits.

There are many different types of the special screws that are called "tamper-proof" screws.

Many screws look the same but are different. You should ask General Instruments which tool is correct.

You can buy kits of various tamper proof bits, they should be available from any decent electronics or tool supplier.

MCM Electronics has a 32 piece 'security bit set' for sale for $8.99 usd.
They're at www.mcminone.com and it's pn#22-1875.
Don't know if the right one for you is in this set, like audioguru said , it's best to contact manufacturer..
