Cheap Timer Project

Hi!..I am planning to build a timer Circuit which control at least 5A of lamp loads. The timer sequence will be at initial power on of 60 mins and will turn off for 5 mins. continuous cycles. Any help and ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks And More Power to you guys!

Here's a place to start.

You'd need to modify certain aspects of the circuit to meet your timing needs.

Obviously the relay can be substituted for what ever load you desire. Or replace w/ a opto isolator.
