I am looking into buliding an IR receiver for my audio amplifier.
I am likely to use a pic 18Fxxx series with IR decoder to receive and decode remote codes. Can anyone share or point me to working IR decoding code, preferably in C ?

Sony remotes use SIRC, which is totally different from the Philips RC5.

One of my PIC tutorials shows how to receive and transmit Sony SIRC remote codes, using assembler and not C.
