Decoupling cap for 74HC14 IC

That's a good idea, use white text, I don't know if it's worth the hassle.

I know, I'm going to add that white text to my Opera notes so I don't need to bother when I make a short post.

I could not get a perfect background colour match, but its close.

BTW: OT,,, I saw your post regarding using standard high value resistors on mains crossing projects, a common method is to use 2 or more standard [voltage] resistors in series in order to reduce the voltage drop across individual resistors.
ie: 1meg becomes 520K and 470K in series etc...
