design of a linear PSU(5V & 12v,500ma)

I require a cct dia oy a power supply which can give 12v as well as 5v output each with a 500mA current. Can anyone of my friends please provide me with a cct dia.?

well that will be simple. just use a 7805 and a 7812 regulator. om sorry i dont have a schematic for u but looking at the datasheets of the above mentioned voltage regulators might help.

btw what are u trying to do? where are u going to use it?
