i m working on a line tracer....i m confused about the differential drive to use.......which one is more acceptable - drive to front wheels or back wheels?

You can push or pull. Most designs use a taildragger design.

so u r tellin to use front differntial drive..?...n to use a castor wheel at the back?.......is it better than a castor wheel at the front and differential at back?

Some use a caster in the front and back. Not sure it makes any difference.

A good example is a long trolley cart. With you pushing it with the drive wheels at the front, you can maneuver the front better. With the drive wheels at the back, you can maneuver the back better.

So do you want to maneuver tight spaces? if so get the front wheel design.

Hint: Work on your spelling and grammar please

thanks for ur ideas.....also one more thing....is a three wheel drive better option.....will it have sufficient stability?
