for starters it isnt that easy!!!!
Jet engines are some of the most complicated things on this planet
they rely on a FADEC to work

Not to mention the flight laws involved.

Probably an advance fuel control for his boss's private jet. Its a Win-Win situation. If it works, he get promoted. If it don't, well a vacancy in the coporate ladder.
 
After spending the last 8 hours of intensive work, I have the following complete design:

Maybe that box should have some LEDs blinking in sequence. You never know when you might need that.
