MAN...it's been a long time since I've been on here. My wife and I just had a baby girl and things got side-tracked bigtime. Anyway, would it be feasable (spelling) to take a 18" -24" parabolic dish, take off the LNB that is currently on it, and use a baby monitor. Let me explain. I use the focal point of the dish which is where the LNB was. De-solder the microphone from the baby monitor sending unit and put it at the focal point on the dish and run wires from the microphone then re-solder the leads to thier original spots on the board in the monitor. I can mount the rest of the sending unit on the back of the dish. Since the monitor I have is wireless, it's kinda nice. ANY thoughts to the effect of this might work? A baby monitor is very sensitive due to the function it serves.
