Hi,
For a school project, we are trying to connect two 555's to make one 556.
Trouble is, neither of us has much experience with electronics and we don't have a clue how to make it work... Can anybody help us?

A 556 is simply two 555's in the same encapsulation, just connect the correct pins to the correct places - not forgetting to connect the supply to both chips.

Is this turned out to bee a drawing competition?

Ah, you did a mistake there. You saved as jpg (blurry ugly rendering) so I'm still ahead of you
Also, my drawing has smoot fine edges

Don't worry! Be happy! Correct info is all that counts!

I didn't discover a mistake in Transistorman's circuit, but I must admit it hurts my eyes.

Thanks everyone! We tried to make it work with the datasheets, but we just ended up confused...But these diagrams have enlightened us!
