If you've got a faulty earth or live and neutral swapped on the feed to the induction cooker, that could contribute to you feeling some current that is capacitively coupled through the glass.
If there is a faulty earth, that would only be dangerous if you touch the metal on the underside of the cooker. If you can't get to that metal, don't worry. If you can get to it, just test if with your screwdriver/voltage indicator and that lights up, get the earthing fixed.
