J Justice New Member Feb 13, 2008 #1 The fuse of my Baseline DVD player bursts when I piug it! I changed all diodes on its power circiut, measured every resistor and changed tha Viper22 IC on the circiut but it still does the same thing! How can I rectify the problem? please help

Hero999 Banned Feb 15, 2008 #2 Have you replaced the filter capacitors too? What sort of power supply does it use? Is it a switching PSU? If so the driver MOSFET/BJT might have blown. Have you checked the other components for any obvious signs of failure like cracks or blackening?
