Does anyone know a good material to use to make a custom solenoid bobbin? It needs to be thin but tough enough to slide over a core. Any ideas much appreciated.
I've used the body of a ball point pen already. I've machined tubes out of delrin and cerramic teflon that worked great....its a pretty open ended question, size, temp etc.
