Hi guys,

Does anyone knows Copper paste plug hole?
I currently got a request to fill in the attached file for Copper paste plug hole from my client:

Material Properties (AE 5C)ValueUnit
Thermal Conductivity13.5W/mK
EmissivityDimensionless
Densitykg/m^3
Specific HeatJ/(kgK)
Material Properties (AE 6AC)ValueUnit
Thermal Conductivity14.2W/mK
EmissivityDimensionless
Densitykg/m^3
Specific HeatJ/(kgK)
Material Properties (AE 6A)ValueUnit
Thermal Conductivity14W/mK
EmissivityDimensionless
Densitykg/m^3
Specific HeatJ/(kgK)

and

Material Properties (PCB Conductive)ValueUnit
Thermal ConductivityW/mK
EmissivityDimensionless
Densitykg/m^3
Specific HeatJ/(kgK)

and

Material Properties (PCB Dielectric)ValueUnit
Thermal ConductivityW/mK
EmissivityDimensionless
Densitykg/m^3
Specific HeatJ/(kgK)

Thank you
Ian

Yes, what's your question?

Higher values of thermal conductivity means it transfers heat better. If you get too high, the material is quite brittle and can crack/powder as you thermal cycle it.

At the risk of appearing thick, what is...

the expression does not appear to make sense in English.

Is this some commercially available product?
If it is, there should be an MSDS* available from its manufacturer or distributor.
The MSDS should contain all the required information.

* MSDS = Material Safety Data Sheet

The technical datasheet (or specification sheet) should have the details in performance of the product.
Application Notes should have hints on using the product.
Safety Data Sheets (SDS) have all safety related info in a globally standardized format. (The term "MSDS" has been depreciated more than 10-years ago).

I think the OP means copper filled VIAs, for better thermal conductivity, from looking at the form included?

Edit - see section 5 in this JLC note about VIAs:

yes, right, copper filled vias for better thermal conductivity. i'm still not able to complete the data requested by my customer, so i have to say to my customer that i can't do that.
