An LM3915 is logarithmic for measuring sound and light levels.
An LM3914 is linear for measuring voltage and current levels.

A lie detector is just an ohm-meter. Some people sweat when they lie and other people sweat all the time even when they say the truth. The sweat reduces their skin's resistance.

Aaron's lie detector circuit uses two batteries. Only a single battery is needed like this that was done by Ron:
