Help me! Termister acting funny

I built a digital thermister using a PIC 16f676. For some reason, when it goes from 29 to 30, it displays 29 to 39 then 30. There is a lag on the ones digit. I don't get it... oh im newb... this maybe an easy problem but i dont know what to do. help me please.....

It seems fairly obvious it's a programming error?, but you haven't posted the code, or even specified the language?.
