Hello i am working on a project, in this project I need to have a switch that is normally open and when i push a button in will stay closed for ~30seconds but i must also be able to turn it off at the push of a button, i have seen tutorials online but am getting nowheres fast, i assume i will need a 555 set up for 30 seconds and then ground the rest pin to cancel? Please someone assist me, possibly even drawing up a rough diagram. it would be hugely appreciated

Joe
